Like anything, the longevity of PedalDabs depend on how often you use them. Please note that they are not designed for aggressive riding.

Do PedalDabs work with Shimano-cleat compatible pedals from other manufacturers?

PedalDabs are designed for use with Shimano- and Look-brand pedals only. They are not designed for use with pedals from other manufacturers, even those that are compatible with Shimano- or Look-brand cleats.

PedalDabs do not require the purchasing of extra cleats.

What if I’m new to clipless pedals?

PedalDabs are a great way to ease into your new setup. When you use PedalDabs you can ride platforms like you’re used to, and then take them off when you want to practice with your new clipless pedals. Even when you get used to clipless pedals it will be easy to change them back to platforms. Best of both worlds, right? We think so.

Are PedalDabs patented?

PedalDabs are patent pending in the United States and we anticipate filing outside the US in due course. We are willing to share the technology while the application is pending.
